Volunteer to bring food
This allows YOU to pick out something healthy to bring to your holiday party!
Start with healthy options
Before you reach for the dessert, start your meal off by eating something healthy. Hopefully, that will help curb your appetite so you’re less likely to indulge later.
Keep healthy snacks on hand
Stash healthy foods in your desk at work and at home so you’re not as tempted by the treats your coworkers and friends bring around!
Manage portion size
Don’t get carried away! Take small portions of those items you think you HAVE to have. Using a smaller plate with less room also helps!
If the weather is nice, take a walk with your family in between meals! Or, utilize your local gym or recreation center.
Pick and choose
You don’t need to eat EVERY goodie that is offered to you. Try to pick and choose when you indulge and when you choose to pass!
Water helps keep you full and feeling satisfied! It also helps flush toxins out of your body!
