I need to have a program that helps me become physically healthy. I am in the beginning stages of diabetes, which I know can be helped with diet and exercise. I also take high blood pressure medication, which is due to my weight. I know that with the right program I can help these two diagnoses. Emotional reasons are many. January will mark the fifth anniversary of my oldest son’s death. He died from a brain bleed after surgery. In the last two months, I’ve lost my 2-month-old grandson and my mom. The losses feel overwhelming. My go-to for stress has always been food. I’ve tried to watch what I eat, but right now it would be so much easier with a plan. It takes less thought to just do what is required than trying to make your own plan. I’m ready for a change and to be healthier. I feel like this could be the chance I’ve been praying and waiting for.
