If you had told Hollie Vanderlei she would earn so much money in part-time income from the end of December to today, she wouldn’t have believed you. But that’s exactly what happened when Hollie jumped on board with Xyngular on Dec. 21, 2019. She’s advanced seven ranks to Silver Director and qualified for the Xtreme Builder Bonus for Level 1 and Level 3.

“I asked my sponsor, Lisa Hampton, how I could earn my money back. She gave me instructions on what to do, and I followed them,” Hollie said. “Within two weeks, I had earned $1,100 and was simply amazed. That was the moment I ‘got it.’ I realized I could make money with this company. I had done multilevel marketing before in the skincare industry — unsuccessfully. It was amazing to be able to make that much money so quickly with this company.”

Hollie is a single mom with a 13-year-old daughter and lives in Willow Spring, North Carolina. She lost 7 pounds and 11 inches during her first 8-day jumpstart. She went on to lose a total of 19 pounds and 22 inches.

“Not only was I instantly gratified with the weight loss results but within the first two days, I noticed an increase in my energy level,” she said. “I could fall asleep faster and stay asleep. I no longer had the cravings for the bad snacks.”

Hollie works two jobs in addition to her Xyngular business. She works as a nuclear medicine technologist in nuclear cardiology on Mondays and Wednesdays and at a fitness center a couple times a week. But neither provide the flexibility and ability to work from anywhere like Xyngular does, she said. Hollie said the amount of support she’s received from her upline team and from corporate has been overwhelming.

“I never imagined people from corporate would call me on the phone and want to talk to me about my goals,” she said. “I’ve already met so many great people who have given me great advice. It’s been an amazing family.”

Hollie said one of the misconceptions people have about this business is that they’ll have to force people to buy something, be pushy or make cold calls.

“I don’t feel like I’m selling something. I just feel like I’m reaching out to help,” she said. “I’m very picky about what I tell my friends. They feel like I’m giving them something — not selling them something.”

Hollie has built her business through Facebook, online and in-person events and through word-of-mouth at the fitness center she works at. Some of her tips for new distributors include:

1. Don’t get hung up on the negative.
“You’re going to have people return kits or tell you no,” she said. “There also will be people who won’t lose the weight. Some people don’t follow the system the way they say they do. They’re still eating simple carbs and sneaking sugars. Know that you can’t help everyone. Not everyone is in the same shoes as you are. Not everyone is ready for this program.”

2. Take time for yourself.
“You get out of this business what you put into this business,” she said. “You’re going to get overwhelmed answering questions or constantly being on the phone. You have to make time for yourself during the day. Take care of yourself. You have to be able to walk away sometimes.”

3. You don’t have to have all the answers.
“If you don’t know an answer, no worries,” she said. “Reach out to your upline. Make use of the people who know the system. Take advantage of the knowledge your upline has.”

4. Have fun.
“Make friends and have fun doing this,” she said. “Don’t look at people as a dollar sign. Look at them as friend or new friend. Enjoy getting on the phone and helping. Don’t look at this as something you have to do but as something you want and get to do.”

For those considering this business, Hollie says to get ready for a wild ride. “The wildest ride of your life,” she said. “You’re going to connect with so many people and help so many people. Enjoy yourself. This is a really cool way to make money.”

Looking ahead, Hollie is eager to be able to take vacations, pay off debt, save money for her daughter’s education and remodel the house she lives in with her daughter and 87-year-old father. She also wants to be able to homeschool her daughter.

“I now see all of those as reachable goals because of this business,” she said.
